Girls Lacrosse Wins First Contest

The Rockland High School Girls Lacrosse team opened up its season on Monday, April 13 with a 14-0 win over Middleboro. It was their first win ever!

The girls are competing this year on the junior varsity level as they are in only their second year as a sport.

On Monday, the girls were led by Natalie Draicchio who had four goals.   Emily Beatrice had three, Lindsay Norris and Hannah Boben each had two goals.  Liz Knobel, Taylor Pendleton and Carly Reardon each had one. In net with the shut out was Taylor Schell.

The Lady Dogs are coached by Lauren Rizzotti and are captained by Emily Beatrice, Carly Reardon and Jenna O’Connor.

The girls’ next game is Wednesday at Duxbury at 4 pm.
