Boys Basketball Team Qualifies for Tournament / Honors Senior Players and Cheerleaders
The boys’ basketball game with Mashpee on last Friday night, Feb. 13, saw a double celebration. First, before the game the nine senior players and three senior cheerleaders were honored for their commitment to RHS for the last four years.
Once the game had ended, coaches, players and the rest of Bulldog Nation celebrated a big victory over Mashpee, 62-49. This gave the Dogs another postseason berth, one of 44 in the past 50 years!
Below are pictures of the seniors taken by Kelley Reale and Mark Norris. Click on one of the individual pictures to see close-ups of senior pictures.
Next up for the Dogs is a game on Tuesday, Feb. 17 vs. Duxbury, part of a boy-girl doubleheader which will feature Senior Night for the girls at 4:30 pm.
Before the boys game at 6:30, a presentation will be made honoring John Tolmie, Class of 1964, the all-time leading scorer in boys’ basketball history.
