RHS Travel Club hosting Chipotle Night

Everyone knows Chipotle is a favorite of Rockland High students and staff and the RHS Travel Club has come up with a fundraiser that gives everyone a reason to go. Clubs and sports teams, hungry students, and faculty rejoice about this excuse to “plow fat burritos” Tuesday, January 21st, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Chipotle at Derby Street Shoppes.  Fifty percent of the earnings from those who mention this fundraiser will go toward the club’s upcoming trip to Italy and Greece in April of 2015. See you there, RHS.chipotle

The South Shore Band Exchange is in its third year and it’s a great way for bands in the area to come together. Students can listen to other bands perform, and learn what they need to improve upon. It’s a great experience, and will certainly be exciting! Be sure to cheer on the Bulldog Band today!

The RHS girls and boys basketball teams will be playing under the same roof tomorrow night as they travel to Abington. Both teams expect that the Wave will put up a fight, but hope to take home two wins against the town rivals. The girls will be facing the undefeated ladies of Abington. The boys hope to give Abington their second loss of the season. Make sure to get to both games tomorrow at Abington High School. The girls game begins at 5 and the boys will be following them starting at 6:30. Good luck to the Bulldogs!
